The president of Chinese table tennis association Mr. Xu Yinsheng decided to retire from his post recently.

The new president selected in place of Mr. Xu Yinsheng is none other then Mr. Cai
who is known as a successful sportsman and a coach.

After retiring from his sports career Mr Cai joined the administrative centre of table tennis and badminton and was later promoted to the post of an assistant minister of sports which he still holds.

World no 4 Timo boll withdraws from WTTC 2009 due to the serious injury at the lower back.He says that there was no other option as the injury was serious.

As said by coach Richard Prause the back pain has become really worse and its stopping Timo Boll from giving his 100%

This is really sad to know as Timo boll was really in good shape after winning some tournaments and he was definately the favourite for the championship .
